Earthquake In Chile
An earthquake measuring 8.8 on the Richter scale struck near Concepcion Chile, followed by multiple powerful aftershocks. There are reports of extensive damage and communications remain difficult at this time. There are rolling blackouts in Santiago, land telephone line service is intermittent and cell phones also appear to be affected.
