CIGNA International Makes Podcasts Available for Expatriate Members
CLAYMONT, Del., January 17, 2008 - CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits (CIEB) released a series of podcasts for members today on its secure member Web site. The innovative podcasts will enhance member communications, enabling international travelers to listen virtually anywhere -- even on route to their assigned countries.
"CIEB launched the podcasts to facilitate ease of transition to expatriate life, and to prepare members for obstacles and challenges they may face while living and working abroad," said Glenn Maykish, CIEB senior director of North American sales and client management.
The podcasts will help international travelers prepare for their assignments and include essential pre-departure, arrival, and adjustment information, along with explanations of the resources available to members while they are away. Resources for all CIEB members include a multilingual contact center open around-the-clock, online country guides, and ePayment PlusSM, a service that provides members with electronic deposits of claim payments in local currency.
The CIEB secure Web site enables members to listen to the podcasts on a computer or download them to an MP3 player.
